Creativity leads to the best results if it is present in someone with a broad interest and solid base of knowledge. We encourage research and education on company time so the potential for creative application of that research and education is maximised.

Outsource the ‘boring’ stuff

A startup is always constrained in terms of resources, and the most important resource we have is employee creativity. So the moment a job becomes too ‘run-off-the-mill’, we outsource it to a third party. 

Stand your ground, find common ground

We encourage thorough discussion of work related issues in order to decide what the best route forward is. Since these discussions can get heated, we make sure that everyone feels confident in standing their ground, while keeping in mind that the goal is always to reach common ground.

The engineers we hire will ideally feel comfortable with the following aspects of the job:

  • Above all, you are a learner. You are hungry for information and the opportunity to apply that information.

  • You’ll come up with creative solutions to problems we encounter on the way.

  • You'll work 36h - 40h a week. There are no specific work hours. We see it as our responsibility to supply you with things to do to fill that time in a meaningful way. You will never have to sit out a clock.

What we offer:

  • We will pay you a fair salary. Depending on skill level, we can discuss other reward options.

  • We’ll make sure you have everything you need for building the prototypes delivered to wherever you want to work. You can use the 3D-printer/soldering iron etc etc for your personal projects as well.

  • We’ll do our absolute best to supply you with meaningful work that makes use of your creativity and skill as best as possible.

  • If you show the kind of potential we will expect from the person to fill this job, we will make sure you’ll have the opportunity to grow with the company at a very high rate over the next 3 years.

  • We’ll make sure you have what you need for a good working space at home in the form of a budget for a desk, chair, work computer, work phone etcetc..

  • Allocated time for education and personal development. If you stay with us, we want you to grow, if you decide to leave us, we hope you’ll do so in an even better state than we found you.
